Weapon of Choice

The third installment of the UNDFTD x Converse Poorman's Weapon releases this Friday. Eddie Cruz & LA's Undefeated rolled out a olive green and black version a year ago and now drops what I think is the best colorway. The Converse Poorman’s Weapon features a bomber jacket nylon upper, removeable velcro logos and nylon bags. In addition, there will also be a matching MA-1 UNDFTD Flight Jacket. Thanks to High Snobiety for the pics.

Keeping with the orange and blue theme, peep the Nike Sportswear x FUTURA x Syracuse Orangemen Collection.

This collection features apparel to match four Orangemen inspired shoes (two Air Force 1 Lows, an Air Force 1 High, and a Dunk High) with colorways chose by Futura.

Tonight Syracuse plays Georgetown in a classic Big East Basketball rivalry. Watch for the Orangemen to don the Nike Sportswear x FUTURA N98 jackets during warmups. Big ups to Rich at Kix And The City for the info & pics.

Well, I am not a LOST fan, but Nike SB took inspiration from the hit ABC show in its last season for their January Quickstrike releases.

A Nike SB Blazer inspired by the Dharma Iniative uniform features the word "Shoe" replacing "Nike on the heel tab, along with screened insoles to mimick the labeled supplies found on the island.

In addition, a Nike SB Dunk High inspired by the colors of Oceanic Airlines. Thanks to Sneakernews for the pics.

You guys ready for the slew of AJ VI retros? The black/varsity red dropped last weekend and now here comes three more colorways set to drop this spring: a Lakers colorway, a Pistons colorway and an "Oreo" (white/black) colorway. Not a fan of this Pistons colorway. The patent leather? Yuck...

Of the three, this one is my favorite...The speckled effect is a nice touch on the "Oreos".

The Laker colorway looks nice, with 3M throughout the upper and yellow & purple contrast stitching (thanks for the pics, Ming!).

While Kobe has worn his fair share of Jordan retros before getting his Nike signature model...

...I don't expect him to rock this one in a game.

For the latest colorway of Kobe's actual signature shoe, here's a peek at the Home version of the Nike Zoom Kobe V.

The Away Vs are in stores now (which I personally like better), but expect the Home version is expected to drop in the next month or so. Fistbump again to Rick at Kix for the pics.
And lastly if you haven't watched any NBA games the past couple nights you've missed out on some AJ XII PE heat...

Joe Johnson vs the Rockets...

...Quentin Richardson vs. the Cavs (Bron rocking GR white/black/gold VIIs)...

...Ray Allen vs the Clippers...

...and Gerald Wallace vs. the Nuggets.

Pfffffffffffffffft! Hago!

NBA Finals preview?

Lebron's Cavs beat Kobe's Lakers in Cleveland last night 93-87 in a pretty thrilling game. Bron (wearing Fanatics/HWC VIIs) dropped 37 points, while Kobe (rocking Inline Vs...yawn) scored 31.

Kobe also became the youngest player to reach 25,000 points on a free throw in the second quarter. The Cavs now have the best record in the NBA at 33-11 and have swept the season series with the Lakers (32-10).

More pics...

And also Bron-related, the "Christ The King" (CTK) Nike Air Max Lebron VII...

We usually get this colorway in addition to some other school colorways (SVSM/Akron/OSU/Fairfax), but here is the CTK colorway for Christ The King High School in Queens, NY. Their team colors are maroon & gold, similar to the Cavs HWC/Fanatics colorway.

The shoe features a maroon Flywire panel highlighted by gold Flywire cables, gold laces, and gold outlined Swoosh, with a white midsole & maroon Air Max unit. A “Christ the King” logo is seen on the back of the shoe (medial side). Expect these to drop in March; my guess is HOH-only like the Lebron VI CTK.

Word to overseas dudes Greg from Nikelebron.net for the facts & Ming of Marqueesole for the pics...

Holy Mamba, Batman!

Dropping this Saturday (1/23/10) at House of Hoops locations, the "Dark Knight" colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe V joins the Chaos colorway (Joker/Christmas '09) and Bruce Lee colorway as yet another movie-inspired colorway.

Kobe himself will make an appearance at the Harlem HOH after his 1/22/10 game against the Knicks; I am guessing he will rock these at Madison Square Garden.

And here is the poster for the event....

Onto Lebron; the newest general release colorway is out this week....

While it doesn't match any of the Cavs current uniforms, I find this colorway of the Nike Air Max Lebron VII to be one of the hottest. The black/white/metallic gold colorway (375664-011) hits retail spots this week. Wonder if he will give these a wear Lebron faces Kobe & the Lakers in Cleveland tonight.

And some exciting news on the Foamposite front...expect these to re-release in September 2010 (not the champagne colored HOH mess that dropped last fall):

AIR FOAMPOSITE PRO
624041-206
PEARL WHITE/BLACK-TRUE RED
$200
6-13, 14, 15
9/1

(Tiger fistpump!)

Last but not least, the Nike Air Max Tailwind 2010 hits retail spots this week....

^ This neon/grey colorway is available at Finishline now. While it may not be as comfortable as the Nike Air Max 2009, it carries a much comfortable price tag of $100.

The air units resemble that of the previous Air Turbulence....I'm gonna give it a test drive some time soon & I'll let you know if it's as pillowy.
is carrying this colorwa
