Late Pass

Tim Tebow creates a cult following in Denver, goes to New York, gets benched by the Jets, is on his way out....and then he gets his signature shoe?!

I guess its the curse of being a New York Jet and getting your own sneaker (Darrelle Revis & his ACL ring a bell?).

Luckily, these might be a GS only release (like the Paul Pierce line).

Thunder and....Lightning?

For some reason I have Wiz Khalifa stuck in my head...

The Nike Kobe System 8 "Sulfur" & Nike Air Jordan IV "Thunder" QS.

I will review the Kobe 8 tomorrow before I test drive it for my volleyball opener Tuesday night & review the Jordan 4 later this week.

High Voltage

Not many people dug the GR LeBron X "Dunkman"...here's an all "Volt" version dropping soon.

So let me get this straight -- the "Knicks" Air Jordan 1 dropping tomorrow is $140...

...while the original Bulls colorway AJ 1 also drops tomorrow for $110.

So, I'm paying $30 for Nike Air tags and a Nike Air box?!?

Ty One On

They might as well rename the "Blue Diamond" Lebron X the signature shoe of Ty Lawson since its the only shoe he wears now...

The Denver Nuggets point guard probably loves the shoe for the same reason I do: the cushioning.

A full-length vis Zoom air unit + Phylon midsole = heaven on your feet.

This shoe is Nike+ Sport Kit ready, but I don't mess with it.  I can't even find my Nike Plus watch in my house...

Flywire cables (like the latest Hyperdunk) keep the shoe supportive up top, designed to move naturally with the body, for sudden changes of direction and lockdown fit.

Prisms next!

String Me Along

Only available at Saint Alfred in Chicago and Kicks/Hi in Hawaii...the STA x Converse "First String" Pro Leather Mid.

"We're proud to present our take on the iconic Converse Dr J Pro Leather. Taking inspiration from Chicago's cold winters as well as the wool used in military blankets. We've created a shoe that will be able to handle the chilly and sometimes messy climate as well as stand out from your usual sneaker. Above all we wanted it to coinside with our aesthetic of clean and timeless design. Available in either black or grey (gargoyle)."
