If the NB 999 Kennedy x Concepts was the best New Balance collabo last year, this is hands down the best of 2012.

The sickest NB of the year just dropped this past Friday - the Hanon "Chosen Few" NB 1500...

A Staple

These kicks are a staple (not to be confused with Jeff Staple)...

The New Balance 993 is a heritage runner that was built for mild-to-moderator overpronators. But to me, this shoe is the closest to a "must" in any rotation or collection.

A classic, clean look with superior comfort & durability like none other, this shoe has stood the test of time, with updates over the years from the 990, 991 and 992.

You can rock these casually, at the gym or dress'em up for a night out.

And these are made in the USA.  Support your economy!

You Don't Know Jack

Chuck Taylor lows are some of my favorite shoes, especially in the summer. They are comfy, you can wear without socks and can be worn with pretty much any casual outfit. 

But if you ever need a slight twist on a classic, snag some Jack Purcells...

The look is similar, as is the fit. They sometimes run a bit more than Chucks, but you can find 'em on the low at Nordstroms Rack for $30-40.

To Clarify...

I know its been seen today everywhere from the Wall Street Journal to Fox News that the upcoming tenth edition of the Lebron James signature line of sneakers will retail for $315...

 

To clarify, the $315 tag will be for the Nike + version of the Lebron X.  The regular, general release Nike Lebron X will run around $180.

Nike + was originated to be a running tool, with one sensor acting as a pedometer and measuring time/distance.  Now, the Lebron X will feature four pressure sensors in the heel, toe, medial side and lateral side.  These sensors use Bluetooth technology to measure performance like its predecessor did for running.

Gimmicky?  A bit. Unclear technology?  Foggy at best.  But definitely buzzworthy.  Non-sneaker folks are talking about this shoe today. folks will shell out the additional $135 just to say they did.  Trust.
