What the...

LeBron James was announced as NBA league MVP on Sunday.  On Monday, he busted out his "What The MVP" shoes Monday night during the first half of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semi-finals in Miami.

Bron put on his Heat-colored Elite X for the second half, which resulted in a loss to the Bulls.  The MVP shoes should release sometime in July.  More pics of the actual shoe here, courtesy of Sole Collector

#squaretoe

Tired of the way your NB toe boxes look?  Do something about!  Peep this SN column on how to fix those toe shapes.

Now if we could translate this to Nike Air Max 1 releases lately....

The CP3 Collection

After chasing the latest Kobes, LeBrons and Durants the past few years, I decided to take a break and venture back into the world of Jordan.  I started picking up the signature shoes of my favorite (current) point guard, Chris Paul.

As we watch CP3 and Lob City play their second playoff game tonight vs. Memphis, lets take a look back at what Paul has worn with the Jumpman on it...

The CP3 I.  The shoe that started it all. While I feel this shoe is a little bulky, it was considered lightweight compared to it's Team Jordan counterparts and had fantastic cushioning.  The $115 price tag was also a welcome sight compared to the LeBron line (pushing towards $200) and the Kobe line (pushing towards $140-150 mark).

The CP3 II.  One of my favs.  Yes, that's denim on the navy blue upper portions. The Mardi Gras colorway was the most sought after.

The CP3 III.  My least favorite of Paul's signature line. Narrow, poor traction...only the speed lacing saved it.

The CP3 IV.  This shoe is amazing. Great for ball and for rocking. This unreleased China colorway is my favorite CP3 model.

The CP3 V.  Great fit & performance, but the shoe has a banana shape to it. Gives off the appearance of being too narrow, even thought they don't fit like so.  The V is my second least fav of the CP3 line.

The CP3 VI.  An absolute beast on the court.  The traction is unparalleled, combined with premium cushioning and weight.  If it wasn't for the CP3 IV, this would be my favorite.

I'm really not digging the new CP3 VI AE (Artisan Edition) that Paul is wearing for the playoffs, but I'll snag on the low come fall time.

Go Lob City!

Thanks...

...to the resellers who cleared out the adidas outlet in Aurora, IL yesterday of the unreleased D Rose 3.0 "Chicago Bears" colorway.  Can't wait to see that whole size run on eBay.  SMH.
