Parade of Shoes, Part Deaux

Back in June, Kobe Bryant wore a PE version of his "Big Stage" Kobe V at the championship parade. Nicknamed "The Parades", Sole Collector showed us some detailed pics of them...

A Texas-Sized Punch

With his championship fight coming up November 13 vs Antonio Margarito at Dallas Stadium, Nike released this week a set of Trainers 1.2s: a white/gold mid PE...

...and a lovely pair of low PEs, the first to be released of the 1.2s.

The lows feature black perforated nubuck on the toe, mixed with granulated black leather, orange Flywire thread, and black Kevlar-like heel tab.

The “MP” logo on the heel and translucent sole just sets these off.

Peep this tonight!

Update: what Pacman will wear on November 13; a boxing shoe rendition of his white/gold 1.2

CMFTs of Home

To rival the Nike Trainer 1.2 "All For One" event tonight, Brand Jordan will drop the CMFT 11 SC Premier tomorrow at the Nike Santa Monica and Nike Roosevelt Field shops.

The limited hybrid release differs from the white/red & white/blue CMFT 11 releases, as if features a carbon fiber mudguard to celebrate the CF plate on the AJ 11 Concord, an iconic Tinker Hatfield invention.

Word to my dude Nick DePaula at Sole Collector working the Santa Monica event.

Update: peep the XX3 Titanium "Tinker" PEs the man himself wore, along with a SC employee rocking a ridiculous unreleased LBJ 3 x 360 hybrid.

Something Like A Venomenom

Thanks to my dude Ming at Marqueesole, we get a peek at the upcoming Kobe VI "Concord" colorway...

The most noticeable feature of the shoe is the snake print upper. The overall silhouette resembles the IV and the V.

The first colorway drops the day after Christmas.

V-Day

Looks like the Lebron signature series will be re-tooled yet again....

Thanks to my boy Ming at Marqueesole, we get a glimpse of the Lebron 8 V2. It's a more lightweight version of the first version we have already seen.

The midsole and outsoles are nearly identical, but the upper is different. It features a lightweight translucent shell as well as a heat-bonded toe-cap for added durability.

So as the Lebron 6 made way for the Soldier 3 and the Lebron 7 stepped aside for the Lebron 7 P.S., there looks to be three versions of the Lebron 8: V1, V2 and V3.

Stay tuned for more on V3!

Teal Appeal

Today, King James was on hand to christen the new House of Hoops in Miami. MIA HOH, located in Dadeland Mall, released the all-teal "Pre-Heat" Lebron VIII...

Lebron 8 designer Jason Petrie was on hand for a Q&A about the shoe...

Petrie himself rocked some heat with an orange LBJ 7 Low, which he first revealed months back via his Facebook page...

Along with the release of the "Pre-Heats", HOH MIA released some NCAA PEs....

...a Syracuse & Kentucky Hyperfuse and a USC & Texas Hyperdunk 2010, along with a Scottie Pippen Olympic More Uptempo USA PE.

Props to Sole Collector and Sneaker News for the pics.

"Meshing" With A Good Thing?

The Nike Air Jordan XIII "Altitude" release is slated for either November or December, but some recently posted images of the Retro from Osneaker shows one alarming change -- a mesh upper....

Following in the footsteps of the Flint XIII retro, the 2010 Altitude will have a mesh upper instead of the full-grain leather upper...

Not sure how I feel about this one. After a double-up on the Flints, I'm not sure if I'll touch these.
