The new Free Run 3 unveils Nike's attempt to "clarify" the midsole confusion on its Free models. Pictured here is the "Soar" colorway (Nike's new fancy way of saying bright blue)...
Nike reverted back to calling the midsoles by their rigidity; this 5.0 midsole is more cushioned and less pliable than the 3.0 midsole.
The midfoot lacing system mimicks the LunarEclipse 2. All in all, its a bit more snug of a fit compared to the Free Run 2, but I feel is a better fit without socks.
All in all, I'm pleased!
